OUTTA DA BOX DANCE KOMPANY consists of a group of LA’s most talented and ethnically diverse teen dancers from ages 12 through 20 years old. Kompany has been together twelve years, and all the dancers attend or have attended Millikan Middle School Performing Arts Magnet.
Outta Da Box Dance Kompany is always looking at opportunities to perform for the community. Some of their past performances included Hearts for Hatti, Michael Jackson Tribute Show, The Special Arts Festival that celebrated the integration of students with special needs and their peers. In addition, they performed for Walk for Children’s Growth that raised money for children with growth defects.
Outta Da Box Dance Kompany has performed for the Pasadena Dance Festival, Glendale Community College, California Adventure, Magic Mountain and the California Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (CAHPERD) Outta Da Box Dance Kompany performed at Special Olympics 2015 closing day festivals at UCLA. This was a tremendous honor to be a part of such a worldwide event.
We’ve performed at RAW a North Hollywood club and Glendale College where” Heart Cry” was honored as best in choreography and performance. This year at Glendale College Dance Festival 2019, “The Kids Are Alright’ was judged “Superior’ perfect score.
In addition, Kompany performed at WOD LA 2017and just recently WODCON 2019.
